Kuan: Very... very ... old.
Raz: 18 baby and legal!
Kikue: 17 years and too many moons.
Shinta: 17 like my sis.
Tenzei: thats only for me and Kuan to know.

2)Height?
Kuan: 5 ft 7in
Raz: 5 ft 8 in
Kikue: 5 ft 4 in... I'm the shortest. T_T
Shinta: 5 ft 6 in
Tenzei: taller than Kuan.

3)You Got Any Bad Habits??
Kuan: Humm... not particularly. Kikue keeps saying I stare off into the clouds too much.
Raz: Thats because you do Kuan. Yesh. My "bad" habits are.. eating too much, picking fights with losers, and being a ladies man.
Kikue: You think you're a ladies man? That is ridiculous. My bad hards include being stubborn and not doing chores when asked. ^o^
Shinta: I kill people for a living.
Tenzei: I pay too much for useless assassins.

Kuan: My "love life" is not your concern. However, I have known many a lady.
Raz: Kuan thats not an answer.
Kikue: Notice how both the boys avoid the question.
Shinta: ...
Tenzei: No, don't be ridiculous. I am the mighty Tenzei! *rambles off*

Kuan: The lady Kikue is mine and mine alone.
Raz: there was this girl once... but...
Kikue: translation for Raz: he's pathedically single. I how ever love Kuan and Kuan alone.
Shinta: women are nothing but trouble.
Tenzei: I have several mistresses. None are worthy of any greater title.

Kuan: Not to my knowledge...
Raz: Certainly not!
Kikue: I wish I had kids! a family would be so nice~!
Shinta: Gee, what does that make me?
Tenzei: Yes, but we don't talk.

Kuan: Catfish and Miso Soup.
Raz: Steak. Lovely medium rare sirloin!
Kikue: Yaki-soba and mochi.
Shinta: Yaki-tori and taco-yaki.
Tenzei: Anything spicy.

Kuan: Mint. Yes, it's a lovely flavor.
Raz: Cherry!!!
Kikue: Chocolate?
Shinta: Chocolate as well.
Tenzei: I'm indifferent.

Kuan: Many poor souls have fallen by my hand.
Raz: I hope not! But maybe someday when I'm as amazing as master Kuan.
Kikue: No.
Shinta: Yes.

Raz: Not particularly. Sometimes Kuan when he makes me do chores like Kikue.

Shinta: Kuan. He's stolen my sister, held her captive and then decides he likes her! The nerve!

Raz: That translates to Kuan not wanted to tell anyone he is a ruthless demon who fell in love once upon a time with a woman he couldn't have. Tragic really. My secret is my secret weapon of course!
Kikue: yah, a secret weapon that you don't have! My secret is that I'm afraid of thunder.
Shinta: I didn't like mother's cooking.
Tenzei: Kuan and I had a secret love affair... (kitsu note: haha... no just kidding!!!!! *faint* *die*) The mighty Tenzei has many secrets!

Yes, I've been busy experimenting with animation. I have an OLD OLD OLD animation program. It's pretty much made for pixel animated gifs... but it served it's purpose. This was done the old fashion way. Frame by frame. (Shoot me.) Anyways, check it out... and crit please?? *faint* *die*

My Fish are sick!

So, I found that one of my guppies has a pretty extensive fungal infection. I removed her from the tank and put her into her own bowl and treated with malachite green. I don't think she's gunna make it. I really hope my other fish don't get infected. I treated my big tank too, but not very heavily since I have live plants and a crab. (they are sensitive to the chemical)

Also, in my smaller tank little freshwater snails have taken over. I have thousands of them and no matter how many I throw away they keep coming back! *grumbles* where do they come from?? *faint* Well, the next time I clean out my tank...

Anyways, thats the news.

Oh, and I think I might have an ear infection. *grumbles*

No, actually I'm not. Just annoyed. Seriously guys, saying that you are leaving DA forever on April Fools Day is old and unorigonal. Be more creative with your pranks so I can actually enjoy the day.

In other news, my roommate and I completely messed up with room selection. Turns out that our room for next year is total #*%&. The room is pretty big and it has wood floors... BUT, the furnature is older than our grandparents and everything is falling apart. There is also pipes and stuff running across the wall and our window is hideous. I just about cried when I saw it. *super stab*

The good news however is that a friend of mine needed roommates for her cottage, so my current roommate and I are applying for it. I pray to high heaven that we get in. We would get our own room, bathroom, kitchen and living room. Did I mention fabulous parking spaces? Goodness, I want the parking more than anything else. I hate walking a mile from the parking lot on the other side of campus to my dorm and also greatly dislike community pantries and bathrooms. (EW) Pray for me guys that I get in!

Lastly, I'm going to Chicago for Spring Break. I'm SUPER EXCITED!! My granny lives in Michigan and we might drive there. It's going to be a nice and relaxing week after this term of terror.

Custom Webpage Design

So, bhoay was looking for help designing her website and I decided I wanted to claim the position~ It was my first time designing a website for someone else and it turned out to be a lot of fun~ (And her art was beautiful and fun to work with.) So, I'm thinking I want to make free custom layouts for people. Since its boring using a template from a design site (like daydreamgraphics) and it costs A TON of money to have their designers do customs. I figure, websites don't nearly take as long as commissioned art, and they aren't terribly hard to put together and code (I'm the CSS master, what can I say?) so why not offer to help out my friends?

Moral of the story, if anyone wants a free custom design~ let me know. I'd gladly help~! I do frames, iframes, div layers, tables, etc. I won't do php or perl because that requires direct access to your database and it takes a very long time to get everything to work right. (Since error messages aren't very helpful and ~~servers hate me~~) I'll put together the design and teach you how to use it too~!

I'd plug for kiki's website, but she's still working on putting it together~ did I mention how beautiful her artwork is? Go check her out~!!!! (~~or I shall stab you all.~~) Cheers~

Oh dear, thats quite the question. I've always tried to be as nice as possible, but clear as to where my feels really lay. It's rude and insensitive to keep people hanging.

World of Warcraft!!! *faint* *die* But, I would have to say Kingdom Hearts is ridiculously fun to play~ and so is Katamari!!

Nope, I have my life pretty well planned.

No, I wouldn't wait. I'd still try to make friends, but no sense putting my heart out to someone who doesn't care for it.

The really dumb comments on DA... I quote, "Nice.. good job!" SERIOUSLY? Do I look like a three year old? Of course I know I did a good job, if I didn't I wouldn't post. I HATE dumb 3 word comments. I'd rather have them not comment at all.

I want to run my own Large Animal Vet Clinic. At my clinic I want to be top doc and boss people around. (maybe have a good looking male intern working for me... ^o^ haha, just kidding) I want a family of my own someday... a couple of kids, husband, in-laws, mortgage, and all that jazz too~!

Visually? Not really. Mentally? I know people see things differently than I do.

People who are there for me, and don't leave me hanging. (Yes I'm referring to you Mr. Jon-the-flake) People who keep their promises.

Nothing particular at the moment. I really love watching House.... But as for anime pairings I'm pretty cannon. Eva/Sparda from DMC, Kaoru/Kenshin from Kenshin, Hagi/Saya from Blood Plus and Haruhi/Tamaki from Ouran High School. There might be some others... but I don't remember them.. (I clearly don't watch very much anime)

Hi folks

You get to listen to my ranting about my rooming situation. So, I got displaced out of my room after exploding at my roommate. BUT AFTER A ~~%*&^&@#!~~ WEEK WITHOUT SLEEP WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?!?! Well, the issue was the fact that she wasn't letting me sleep at night and refused to make any kind of compromise. (Basically being a selfish ~~#^%**#~~ ). I'm sorry but my sleep is 19238409389048 million times more important than your ~~#*()%&#~~ Japanese soap opera, your making smelly fish and moving around at 3AM. Anyways, a nice person down the hall who HAS HAD A SINGLE ALL YEAR LONG was kind enough to invite me in. (I can't believe she didn't even hesitate to give it up!) She's been so ridiculously nice to me its not even funny. She helped me move and everything. It was nice since all my stuff got thrown out into the hall at 1AM.

Things have been a lot better, I finally get the much needed rest I've been yearning for and there have been some nice bonuses. My roommate has a lovely large TV, is clean and organized, is an American who actually speaks English, loves nice smelling air fresheners and sleeps like a rock. We get along great, which is saying a lot since we don't even know each other. *very happy* ^v^!!! <3 <3

Anyways, I feel like I really put my foot in my mouth today, because when explaining to my Japanese class (there are only 4 of us) why my roommate drove me nuts I said that it must "be a Japanese thing" which was rather rude, because sensei said that good Japanese people don't act like that, and they are just as courteous as anyone else. It was rude of me to assume that all Japanese were terrible just on the basis of a bad experience with one. (Which is silly anyways, because last year my roommate was Japanese too and her English was no where near as good as my most recent Japanese roommate and we understood each other just fine and never had a problem.) It was nice to hear from my classmates that I wasn't being unreasonable. I'm so thankful to everyone for being so supportive. I really wasn't expecting it at all.

Thats all. I'm in a much happier place now. I think I've let the bad experience go too. No sense being angry over the past now that it is over and justice (me moving out) has been served.

I'm not sure what to make of this but... I got a note on DA that said the following:

"Your Jedi Master Kitsui..are you gonna draw anymore of her, or can I request a pic of her..not commission I have like zero online spendable money...I was just wondering cause a friend of mine uses her for her Jedi RP character and everyone whose tried to draw her again has been total rubbish including myself...my friend was just wanting to see what your idea of the rest of the tattoo on her back, like what it looks like and such..maybe a fighting pose..a shot from behind that shows the tattoo more...anything really.."

At first I was like, "yah, I should draw more of her..." then I was like, "using her (which is really me in Jedi form) for RP character?! Without permission? WTF." I'm not really sure what I should make of this.

I guess I couldn't be an "unknown" artist forever. Makes me wonder where else my stuff is being used... all I ask is a little credit. YESH. *stabs people* >_________________<!!!!!!!!! WTF?!

I'm working on a re-design of my website (shantkitty.net) and I've worked on two designs:

This is the first design, I like it because of the navigation on the side, but once the page gets stretched I can't imagine it will look too good. The main content area is kinda small too... hum.

This is the second design. I like this one because it gives me more space. The sideways picture is a bit different for me. but whatever. *shrugs*

Third Option?
Keep my site the way it is??? XD I don't know!! What do you guys think??

Well anyways, I didn't want to go through all the trouble of coding one if I wasn't happy with it. (Its a lot of work you know?) In other news.... I got another fish!!!!!! (that makes four) He seems very happy in my tank, albeit my other fish seem kinda spazzed out by his presence. But its nice to seem them more active. (Hopefully it doesn't kill them.) Heh. The Future

So, I've been thinking a lot about my future in art lately. I've come to the conclusion (like I always do) that I simply don't have one. Not because I'm not good enough or don't think I can do it or something emo like that, but mostly because I don't think it would make me happy. I would hate to always be working under another person. Doing their projects, under their watch. I find it boring and uninteresting.

I really want to be able to run my own business and be actively doing something with myself. My dreams right now are vet school, even though its starting to look impossible to get there. However, one of my good friends told me last night that I should keep striving for my dream no matter what. Just because I'm not good at something isn't an excuse to give up. Somehow I'll make it there eventually. Why? Because I love it. I love biology, I love anatomy, I love Chemistry. It's fun and exciting. Sure I'm not getting good grades at the moment... I'm just not good at school. But, I always find a way to pull through in the end.

Over the summer I have a job working at the stables where I take riding lessons. My trainer told me that I should ride around with the local large animal (agriculture) vet and do some shadowing. Right now the idea of being that sort of vet is very romantized in my head and I very much want to see what it is actually like. So far it sounds like fun~ trudding around in the dirt and mudd and giving cows and horses shots and things. Always something different I hope! Sounds more enjoyable than a small animal doctor, where all I would do for the rest of my life is the grand three things: spaying, neutering, and declawing. I mean, from my shadowing experiences the vet does more than that of course... but the fun things are very rare. (Nothing like the animal shows you see on TV) Besides, doing large animal stuff I think is more rewarding.

Well, anyways, this isn't some big sign that I'm going to stop drawing, but its certainly my way of telling myself that I need to get the idea of going into professional art out of my head. When it comes right down to it, being a professional artist isn't the life style I want. I would much much much rather keep it as a fun hobby.

So, the great and inactive Y! member (aka meh) finally submitted something. (Y! isn't really my cup of tea to be honest... *shrugs*) It was apart of a trade with Demona. I'm glad she kept it so simple for her request or I may have never remembered it. *shrugs again* All she wanted was a dark elf of my own design and pose... and I like drawing elves anyways, so no big challenge there. Anyways, so if your interested... ->

In other news, Heath Ledger died! I can't believe it! He was definately up there with my favorite actors! Who would have thought that he of all people would OD? I mean, he always insisted on doing his own stunts, and rarely got caught up in the poperazie! Anyways, the CNN acticle is HERE. I do have to say his death is almost as shocking as when Steve Erwen died... one of my dreams (before I die sort of thing) was to meet him (Erwen). *shrugs* Oh well, may the fallen stars of our beloved media rest in peace and confidence that they will be in our memories (and our favorite movies) forever.

Roommate Issues

So, I'm so annoyed... GAH. I swear I can't wait till this year is over. Its like my roommate doesn't even acknowledge that I exist. She's loud and inconsiderate. I keep trying to talk to her about it, but I feel like she keeps blowing me off. I wish my first roommate was still here. She was a international student from Japan. She was quiet (even though she liked to talk), clean and VERY considerate of my space and happiness. My current roommate is also Japanese, but quite the opposite of the first one. I mean, can she talk any louder? I have freaking headphones on and I can still hear her practically yelling into her online phone. GOOD GRIEF LADY! Your mom isn't deaf I promise. She shines her dang desk light RIGHT towards my bed and it literally blinds me if I'm sleeping and she turns it on... which she ALWAYS does.

I'm going to have to have a serious chat with her. The first thing to be fixed is that damn light. Next is going to be her noisy habits at 2AM. If we can fix those two things I think I can get past everything else. No wonder my friend refused to live with her from last year. *shrugs* I'm so tired and frustrated its not even funny. *grumbles*

Road-map to Heaven
A little story about what happens after you die.

It was the 5th of November. The rain had started early that morning and continued threw the day. The little town of Horseheads, New York was notorious for it’s black ice on the roads, but that didn’t stop the hustle and bustle of it’s people from rushing to place to place throughout the day. The two teenagers had nothing better to do with their day after classes, so they thought nothing of spending some time out and about. They had made plans that night. It was still their 3 month anniversary of “going-out” together. The two students had been looking forward to their day together, even if it was raining.

"What’s that?" Asked Chad absent mindedly to Millie who, at the moment, was sitting in a ball shivering.

“I don’t know, I don’t know. God… we are dead aren’t we?” she said rocking back and forth letting her red cropped hair to sway into her face. Chad looked up at her, noticing how ridiculous she looked in her torn jeans and orange hoodie against the white that surrounded them.

“Nah, really! I mean, what is that?” he said again completed unaffected by their current situation. He held out a light green map of sorts and turned it upside down and back again as if to make some sort of point. “Don’t you see that? I think we are… we are here,” he continued with a smile pointing at the map.

“God Chad! We just got T-ed by a semi! Shouldn’t we be smushed into strawberry pancakes?” asked Millie quickening her pace at which she was rocking.

“Hum, lemme see your face,” Chad said as she looked up at him in tears, “nope, your face is normal. Doesn’t look like a pancake to me.” She stopped and stared at him darkly. She finally sat up and dramatically wiped her tears away with her shoulder. Before the skinny young man could react she wiped away the map from his hands. In frustration she pulled at it desperately trying to shred the seemly useless pamphlet, but only ended up throwing it down in a humph when it would not rip. Chad sighed deeply and picked it up. He examined it again.

“I swear when I bought this back in Syracuse, it was a map of the Southern Tiers. What gives? New York doesn’t look like this? Does it?”

“God Chad! You’re hopeless. Give me that!” Millie said snatching the map out of his hands again. This time she actually looked at it. It was definitely a road map, but not with the normal print of highways and side streets. It looked more like a map an aviation pilot would use; not that she knew what those types of maps would look like. She noticed there was a handwritten message scribbled along the white border on the edge of the paper. It was not in any language she could understand, but it had a shocking resemblance to the Greek letters she had used in her math class. “What do you think it says?” she asked showing it to her boyfriend.

“What says… what?” he asked dumbly.

“That!” Millie said pointing at the writing.

“I don’t see anything. I think you’ve lost it.”

“Yah, my life is toast. I know. But seriously…” the girl said. Chad shrugged and sat himself down beside her.

“Wonder why we didn’t see ‘the light at the end of the tunnel’ thing,” Chad said not really forming his thought into a question, “do you think it was because God doesn’t like us, so he didn’t give us the chance of running the opposite direction?”

“You aren’t concerned in the least that you’re dead are you?” she said glaring at him. He just shrugged. Clearly death doesn’t change much in one’s personality. He was as much as a dead-beat in the afterlife as just life. If she were even to call what they had a ‘life’ to begin with.

“Hey! You guys! Over here!!” came a yell from somewhere in the distance. By the time Chad and Millie had stopped arguing long enough to hear the calls; another young man had already reached them. He was a black man sporting blue and orange Hawaiian-style board shorts and lacked a proper shirt. He had a sort goatee of sorts and had his hair braided back in dreadlocks. As he got closer Chad noticed a white-tan colored tattoo that showed of graffiti style letters sprouting a pair of angel’s wings. Once the man reached them he stopped to catch his breath leaving Millie and Chad to stare at each other puzzled. “Man, why is it that you angel-folk are always white people? Dang man!”

“Um, excuse me?” Millie said annoyed. If this was heaven, wasn’t everyone supposed to be nice to you?

“Sorry man, no offense or anythin’ like that. It just all I want is my halo and wings and I can’t even find a roadmap that points to the pearly whites. If you know what I mean,” the man said in between panting for air.

“You mean one like this?” Chad said snatching the map back from Millie and waving it about. The man’s eyes followed it silently back and forth like a fat man watches a steak walk by.

“Hey! Chad! Give that back! Look, who ever you are, this is our map. We bought it fair and square back in Syracuse,” Millie said defensively.

“Eh, eh, eh, chill woman. I didn’t mean no offense. I’m as lost as you are. But I’m not gunna travel with anyone who isn’t square with me. We clear?” he said. Chad folded his arms and grunted.

“Oh stop it Chad. Maybe he can help us,” Millie said easing up a bit.

“Help us? Have you ever been in the ghettos before Mill? I’m not trusting him!” Chad said defiantly.

“For heaven’s sake, we are in heaven, Chad,” she said smacking him on the back of the head, “lets see…” she started again, “you always said you loved my eyes right? Said you could see into my soul and see how pretty it was, right?” The black man cocked an eyebrow while Chad unfolded his arms in mild surprise.

“Yah, so,” Chad said, embarrassed to talking about such things in front of a stranger. Millie continued, “This guy and I have the same color eyes. So, we must both have pretty souls inside right?” Chad stood blank faced at his girlfriend. The last thing he needed was her pouting. But he shrugged and slowly nodded.

“Fine, fine,” he said turning to the stranger, “so, what’s your name mate? I’m Chad Kelwieser and this is my girlfriend Millie Reader.”

“Beau Renalds. I was killed 2 months ago. Shot in the back. You?” Beau said matter-of-factly.

“We ah… died… oh, I’d say 30 minutes ago or so. Hit a semi in the rain. Squished pretty good,” Chad said.

“Excuse me, the semi hit us,” Millie cut in.

“Ouch. That sucks. Guess you don’t know much about how to get around heaven eh? I’d say you two are pretty lucky. From what I hear, not many people get to take material items with them to heaven. Mostly just your knowledge… and your clothes I guess,” Beau shrugged, “but a roadmap. You said you bought that in Syracuse? Man, should have got me a map before I died. Oh well, nothing I can do about it now. What does it say?”
